Türkiye's leather product exports value decreases

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 11. The export value of Turkish leather goods decreased by 32 percent to $120.8 million in January 2024, the Trade Ministry of Türkiye said, Trend reports.

The ministry highlighted that in the last 12 months (from January 2023 through January 2024), Türkiye exported leather goods worth $1.8 million.

Last year, exports of leather goods from Türkiye fell by 9.5 percent compared to 2022, to $1.9 million.

In December 2023, the country exported leather goods worth $116,000, which is 36.3 percent less than in December 2022, the ministry added.
