BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 19. Türkiye is actively working on a new constitution. Negotiations on the drafting and adoption of a new constitution are planned to be completed within a year, the Chairman of the Turkish Parliament Numan Kurtulmus said, Trend reports.
He noted that they intend to submit the document for discussion in parliament at the autumn session of 2025.
"We will take into account everyone's opinion. One of the main tasks of the parliament is to develop a modern, democratic, comprehensive Constitution. I see in our parliament a desire to adopt a new Constitution and I hope that this will happen", he added.
