Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with former French Foreign Minister Hubert Vedrine. The Azerbaijani- French relations and their development were discussed at the meeting, the Azerbaijani foreign ministry told Trend on April 14.
While giving information about the peaceful settlement process of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, Mammadyarov stressed that Armenia's unconstructive position has a negative impact on the settlement of the conflict and the regional development.
At the same time, the minister stressed that as a result of the aggressive policy, Armenia is apart from the large-scale projects implemented in the region upon Azerbaijan's initiative.
The sides also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
