Turkey plans to put another major port of Istanbul, namely Salipazari up for privatisation, Turkish Privatisation Agency's (OIB) website reported on Monday.
Cost of the tender will reach $20 million. The tender winner will operate the port for 30 years.
The report states that the final date of the tender will be scheduled for April 3, 2013.
Earlier Turkey announced about its intention to privatise nine major ports: Derince (Izmit), Kruvaziyer (Izmir), Izmir Yuk (Izmir), Tekirdag (Tekirdag) Gulluk (Mugla), Kabatepe (Canakkale), Gokceada Kuzu (Canakkale), Pasaport Iskelesi (Izmir) and Galataport (Istanbul).
It is expected the tenders will be announced as early as next month, the report says.
