Iran's 5-month non-oil export increases by 10%

Iran's non-oil trade turnover reached $35.817 billion, during the first five months of the current fiscal year (started on March 21).

During the mentioned period, the total non-oil exports of Iran increased by 10.22 percent to $19.108 billion, Iran's Custom Administration's official website reported Aug.24.

Iran includes gas condensate and some raw hydrocarbon products like propane, butane, etc in its non-oil export basket.

During this period, the country exported $3.27 billion worth of condensate, which indicates a 9.21 percent decrease year-to-year, while the petrochemical products export increased by 25.03 percent to $7.462 billion.

Iran also imported $16.709 billion worth of commodities, which indicates a 2.85 percent decrease year-to-year.

China, United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Turkey and South Korea are Iran's biggest export targets, which imported $3.405 billion, $2.914 billion, $2.485 billion, $2.251 billion and $1.741 billion worth of commodities from Iran during five months of current fiscal year respectively.

China, United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Turkey and Germany are the biggest exporters to Iran, whit $3.863 billion, $2.862 billion, $1.263 billion, $1.077 billion and $938 million commodity exports to Iran.

All of the mentioned five countries decreased exports to Iran, except for Germany which increased its exports to Iran by 29.23 percent in five months of Iran's fiscal year.
