The President of Georgia awarded the Order of the National Hero of the deceased during the Georgian-Russian war in 2008 George Antsukhelidze (posthumously).
Chief of the Joint Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces Irakli Dzneladze was also involved to the handover ceremony of the Order to the family of the deceased soldier.
"Today we pay tribute to hero who died for the freedom of our Georgia, junior sergeant who died during the Russian aggression in 2008", - Saakashvili said.
