One of the biggest manufacturers of building materials in Azerbaijan - the Gazakh cement plant - intends to increase clinker production, a source in the company told Trend.
“Clinker production volume is expected to increase by 20-25 percent in 2020,” the source said.
"The plant intends to increase its current production capacity from one million to 1.3-1.5 million tons per year to increase the export volumes,” the source said. “It is planned to greatly increase clinker production due to the great demand for this type of building materials abroad.”
“The plant intends to export the products to neighboring countries such as Georgia and Iran, this year,” the source added. “The products may be supplied in the second half of this year."
The Gazakh cement plant is one of the biggest manufacturers of building materials in Azerbaijan. Besides cement, the plant produces concrete and clinker.
