BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 1. Bakcell's share in Azerbaijan's mobile market is about 30 percent, Bakcell CEO Klaus Mueller said, Trend reports.
He spoke at the panel "Overcoming Barriers: How Telecom Subscribers Enhance Competition and Drive Innovation" at the InMerge Innovation Summit in Baku.
"We have roughly three million users and a 30 percent market share in the mobile sector. We are the market's largest private operator, and we have a long history of supporting projects and innovation. The company works on a variety of topics and creates fun campaigns for subscribers. We intend to conduct projects in this area on a regular basis," he emphasized.
The data of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan shows that information and communication enterprises provided services worth 2.5 billion manat ($1.4 billion) in Azerbaijan from January through October 2023. This indicator increased by 15.8 percent year-on-year.
A total of 73.1 percent of these services were rendered to the population.
