Karabakh Liberation Organization to Hold Meeting under Open Sky

Azerbaijan, Baku, 30 May / Trend corr. J.Babayeva / The Karabakh Liberation Organization (KLO) will hold its 3rd meeting under an open sky on 31 May, Akif Nagi, Chairman of KLO, told Trend on 30 May.

According to Nagi, the Executive Power of Aghdam, Barda and Tartar regions did not allocate the place to hold the meeting. "A special place under the open sky was allocated by the aforesaid regions. About 200 or 250 people will participate in the meeting as its will be held under the open sky," Nagi said.

A new chairman and members of ruling organizations will be elected in the meeting.

The KLO was established in Baku on 28 January 2000, with an objective of a public struggle to liberate Nagorno-Karabakh. KLO unites representatives of intelligentsia, refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs), old and young people as well as former military soldiers. The latest meeting of the organization was held in 2003.
