Muslims should defend population in Gaza: Iran’s spiritual leader
Iran's spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared Dec. 29 as the day of mourning in the country due to attack of Israel to the Gaza Strip and stated that the Muslims of the world must stand for defence of the population in Gaza.
Yesterday night the Israeli Air Military Forces fired rockets to the Gaza Strip. After expiring of the armistice term between HAMAS and Israel on Dec. 19, HAMAS fired Israeli settlements in Ashkelon and Sderot in response to murdering of four Palestinians.
On Dec. 27, as a result of military actions of Israel 271 people died and 700 were wounded. HAMAS press-service in Gaza reported to Trend that most of the suffered were women and children.
According to the Iranian Fars news agency, on Dec. 28, Iran's spiritual leader said the all died, who tried to defend the local population in Gaza, were shahid. He called Zionists as apostate and condemned Arab states for their non-participation in defence of the Palestinian population.
