Iran's nuclear technology success is a result of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Iran's former speaker told Trend .
Iran marks Nuclear Holiday on April 9. Iranian officials inform the people of the new achievements regarding the nuclear technology each year on occasion of this day.
"Iran's nuclear technology success is result of Iran's independence. The independence is a result of the Islamic Revolution of Iran," Iranian former Speaker Haddad Adil told Trend over telephone from Tehran.
He said nuclear technology success demonstrates Iranian people's determination to keep pace with the scientific development worldwide.
Iran announced on April 9, 2006 that it can produce centrifuges to enrich uranium. Cultural Council of the Islamic Revolution of Iran announced April 9 Nuclear Holiday ever since.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said during his speech in Isfahan that he will inform citizens and world of new nuclear technology achievements.
West is against Iran's nuclear program. West, specifically U.S., France and the UK are suspicious about Iran's nuclear program's peaceful purpose. The UN Security Council has adopted five resolutions thus far to halt Iran's nuclear program. Tehran claims it develops nuclear programs for peaceful purposes.
