Turkey is displeased with double standards that the EU applies to it, Anadolu agency quotes Turkish Minister for EU Affairs, Egemen Bagis as saying on Wednesday.
Bagis said despite Turkey has enough potential to be a member of the European Union, Europe does not let Ankara join the EU.
Negotiations on Turkey's EU membership have been held since 2005. Despite the support of most EU members, France and Germany persistenly refuse to grant it a full membership, proposing instead "privileged partnership", with which Turkey does not agree.
