By present, the Government of Germany has rendered в'¬ 144.6 million financial and в'¬ 40 mln technical assistance to Azerbaijan, Trend reports quoting German Embassy in Azerbaijan.
The relations between Azerbaijan and Germany are good traditionally, the same source told. The best examples for this may be the support of Germany in reforms held in Azerbaijan for transferring to market economy. In addition, Germany supports the reformation of the court and legal system of Azerbaijan.
Within the plan of co-operation between the two countries in 2006-2007, the German Government has provided в'¬ 4 million to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is an important partner for Germany in South Caucasus, stated by the Embassy.
