Azerbaijan and Georgian PMs Discuss Perspective Economic Relations

Akif Ali, the Chief of the Press-Service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan informed Trend that Arthur Rasizadeh, Azerbaijan Prime-Minister and his Georgian counterpart Zurab Nogaideli have discussed perspectives of trade and economic relations between the two countries in Baku today.

According to him, the Heads of the two Governments held a joint meeting. Then the negotiations were continued in an extended team with the participation of the Vice-Premiers of Economic Development, Transport, Industry and Energy and other Ministers of the two Countries.

The parties discussed issues on cooperation between the two countries in the energy, transport, and trade spheres, as well as viewed the results of the negotiations held within the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation and Possibilities on Expanding Trade Relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia.
