Azerbaijan, Baku, 23 April / corr Trend K.Ramazanova /Andrey Chupov, the IAEA coordinator for implentation of projects in Azerbaijan, will visi Baku in June. Chupov informed Trend over the telephone from Vienna on 23 April.
Last year, Azerbaijan and IAEA agreed upon construction of a nuclear reseach reactor in the territory of the country. Azerbaijan is eager to commence the construction of the 30-35 KW reactor in 2009, which is expected to complete by 2011.As of preliminary data, the reactor will be built in the territory near Baku.
The last visit of IAEA, for study of reactor construction details, was paid in January.
