Azerbaijan, Baku, 23 April / Trend corr. K.Zarbaliyeva / The court's decision against the son of Azerbaijani MP Ilyas Ismayilov, who has been detained in Russia, has remained in force.
Jarulla Ramazanov, Etimad Ismayilov's lawyer, stated to Trend that the Chelabinsk District Court did not change the two months imprisonment sentence against E. Ismayilov.
Etimad Ismayilov, was detained by the Federal Security Service at Moscow airport on his return to Baku on 25 March on debt charges of approximately USD 1 million made by his company. He has been accused of fraud within the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The lawyer reported that he would appeal to the Supreme Court.
