Today - on May 23, test examinations are held for vacancies at the Azerbaijani Justice Ministry.
A total of 220 candidates, graduating from state, private and foreign universities are attending the test examination held by the State Commission for Students Admission (SCSA) and the Ministry of Justice.
More than half of the candidates represent regions of Azerbaijan, Chief of Personnel Department of the Justice Ministry Rauf Maharramov told journalists on May 23. "Most of the candidates are graduates of the Baku State University. About 25 percent of applicants - are women. Number of vacancies is more than the number of candidates," he said.
Maharramov said vacancies are in the register agencies, prison service and other bodies of justice.
A total of 100 questions have been complied to determine the legal knowledge, logical thinking and general outlook of candidates and the candidates must reply these questions within three hours.
Answers to legal orientation are estimated with one point, logical questions - 0.5 points. A candidate who obtains 55 or more points out of 90 possible, will have the right to participate in the second stage - the interview.
Results will be posted on the SCSA's website this afternoon. About 40 local and international observers are following the course of the exam, which takes place in the Baku State University.
The first competition for the vacancies in the judiciary was held in 2006. In recent years, about 600 people have been received into the bodies of the Azerbaijani Justice, through competitions and interviews.
