The Heydar Aliyev Foundation will donate school accessories to first-year pupils from refugee and IDP families.
The portfolios for more than 10, 000 first-year pupils will comprise 15 kinds of school accessories, including notebooks on subjects, three types of albums, colored pencils, clay, paint, scissors, pens and so on.
Donating school accessories to first-year pupils by The Heydar Aliyev Foundation on the eve of the new academic year under the project on "Support to Education" has become a tradition. The Foundation continues to support education since 2004. So far, more than 200, 000 first-year pupils have been provided with school accessories as part of these project.
Heydar Aliyev Foundation, whose president is the first lady of Azerbaijan, was established on May 10, 2004. The Foundation aims to develop different spheres in Azerbaijan. Projects in culture, education and health are implemented for this purpose. Its purpose is to study the rich heritage of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and bring up new generations in the spirit created by his ideas of national statehood, promote religious tolerance, establish a civil society; preserve national and moral values under the integration and globalization of the world.
