A transparent mechanism for inspection of cars should be created in Azerbaijan in an attempt to eliminate red tape and formalities in the procedure, Parliamentary Legal Policy and State Building Committee Chairman Ali Huseynli told Trend.
He said it is necessary to carry out the transformation.
Huseynli said changes in the country carried out to ensure transparency will lead to transparency and the process of inspection vehicles.
The creation of a transparent mechanism in this area requires the conduct of work with relevant agencies, he said.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev considers it possible to cancel the checkup procedure.
Medvedev believes the system must either be eliminated or should be applied a new mechanism for resolving the problems faced by citizens in this area, and the powers in relation to the safety standards should be withdrawn from the Interior Ministry.
Kyrgyzstan has also initiated discussions on the elimination of the system and creating a new inspection mechanism.
