BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. The first inclusive cafe in Baku has opened with the support of PASHA Holding.
Recently, the opening ceremony of “Kashalata”, the first
inclusive cafe, took place. This initiative, launched by the “Birgə
və Sağlam” Public Union, was supported by PASHA Holding, the
Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the
Republic of Azerbaijan, the Small and Medium Business Development
Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (KOBIA), SOCAR, and Trendyol
Azerbaijan. The purpose of this initiative is to support employment
opportunities for young people with disabilities and to promote
their integration into society. Located at 57 Uzeyir Hajibeyli
Street, the cafe employs a total of 20 young people, 10 of whom
have physical disabilities.
It is worth noting that supporting women and children is a key part
of PASHA Holding’s corporate social responsibility efforts. To this
end, PASHA Holding contributes to various initiatives, including
assistance for children suffering from thalassemia and autism,
support for orphaned children, blood donation drives, and similar
projects.
