A conference on �Cooperation with the South Caucasus countries in nature preservation in Azerbaijan’ will be held in Azerbaijan on 26 and 27 July. The conference will give a start to the implementation of projects on protection of reserve territory in Azerbaijan.
The CE Secretariat told Trend the project was part of an ecology network Emerald, which acts within Bern Convention on Defense of wild flora and fauna and inhabitance in EuropeВ".
Azerbaijan actively cooperates with 27 countries which joined Emerald network.
Bern Convention is also open for countries for entering the Council of Europe.
