Religious leaders of Caucasus came out with the initiative of holding the special meeting with the regions’ heads of the states, the chairman of the Caucasus Moslem Board (CMB) sheikh - ul- islam hadji Allahshukyur Pashazade told journalists, Trend reports.
The initiative has been raised at the meeting of the religious leaders of the people of Caucasus held in Baku these days. The religious leaders propose to hold a meeting of presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan, leaders of the North Caucasus regions of the Russian Federation with the religious leaders of the mentioned countries for detailed and comprehensive viewing of the problems existing in the region, the CMB chairman told Trend. The coordinated action plan on enhancing measures to fight terrorism, separatism, radical Islamic forces, for establishing peace and stability in the region is proposed.
