Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / The regional appeal courts have began business in Azerbaijan on 16 July. The Legal Council has reported that all conditions have been created for the normal activities of the courts.
In line with the 19 January 2006 order of the Azerbaijan President, appeal courts have been established in the cities of Baku, Ganja, Sumgayt, Ali Bayramly and Sheky. The Parliament of Azerbaijan confirmed that the judges had been specially selected for the appeal courts by the President.
