BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 27. The GDP of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic increased by 2.2 percent in first half of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021, Trend reports with reference to Nakhchivan’s State Statistics Committee.
According to committee, Nakhchivan's GDP exceeded 1.3 billion manat ($764.7 million) in the reporting period.
Committee said that industrial production in Nakhchivan exceeded 590.6 million manat ($347.4 million) from January through June 2022, which is 2.1 percent more than the same period in 2021.
GDP per capita in Nakhchivan amounted to 2,942.8 manat ($1,731) in the reporting period, which is 2.3 percent more than in first half 2021.
