BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 6. Azerbaijan imported $130.24 million worth of ferrous and non-ferrous metals from Türkiye in 2023, Trend reports, referring to the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TIM).
According to calculations based on data from TIM, this figure is 1.2 percent less than the figure for 2022.
Azerbaijan imported $12.057 million worth of ferrous and non-ferrous metals from Türkiye in December alone.
According to the data of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan produced products worth 60.8 billion manat ($35.76 billion) from January through November 2023, which is one percent less than the indicator of the same period in 2022.
In turn, the production of the metallurgical industry and finished metal products in the country decreased in value terms by 23.42 percent to 1.016 billion manat, or $597.64 million (1.327 billion manat, or $780.58 million in the same period last year).
