South Korean Myung Sung Placon Co., Ltd. will sign a bilateral document with Uzbekistan on the construction of modern greenhouse complexes in the Syrdarya region at the expense of direct S. Korean investments, Trend reports referring to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in S. Korea.
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Vitaly Fen, received the President of the South Korean Myung Sung Placon Co., Ltd., Jung Yeong Hun. During the meeting, the sides discussed the implementation of investment projects to create modern greenhouse complexes using advanced South Korean technologies in the regions of Uzbekistan.
It is reported that a detailed exchange of views was carried out on current investment projects in the Khodjeyli district of Karakalpakstan, where the construction of a modern greenhouse complex on an area of five hectares has been completed.
It was noted that the construction of additional greenhouses on five hectares continues there. As the issues regarding the financing of this project are resolved, similar greenhouse complexes will be created in the city of Nukus and the Nukus district.
In addition, the head of Myung Sung Placon Co., Ltd. informed about the construction progress on 10 hectares of greenhouse complexes in the Kasby district of the Kashkadarya region. The facility has already begun the cultivation of agricultural products, which are fully exported.
Also, Jung Yeong Hun accepted the ambassador's proposal to build greenhouse farms through direct investment on an area of 10 hectares in the Syrdarya region. He announced his readiness to send representatives of his company to the region on April 30 this year to conduct detailed negotiations with the regional leadership. Based on the results of the discussions, it is planned to sign a bilateral document, in accordance with which construction work will begin further.
At the end of the meeting, Jung Yeong Hun expressed his full readiness of Myung Sung Placon Co., Ltd. to further expand its activities in Uzbekistan, create modern greenhouse complexes and increase the export potential of the regions.
