Azerbaijan, Baku, 13 May /corr. Trend E.Ismaylov / Baku Metro's new station Nasimi is planned to be opened on 15 September, the Head of Baku Metro, Tagi Ahmadov, said.
The construction of a new station Azadlyg which commenced in 2008 is projected to be completed by the end of 2009.
One more new station and a new depot are projected for 2010-2012.
This year the Metro plans to purchase 36 new trains. Of them, 10 have been received and put into operation. The second consignment comprising 10 trains will be acquired in November. Other 16 trains will be received in December.
