The U.S. dollar stood firm at the upper 98 yen level Tuesday morning in Tokyo, Xinhua reports.
The dollar bought 98.86-91 yen at midday, against 98.79-89 yen in New York and 98.65-68 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.
The euro was quoted at 1.2648-2653 dollars and 125.07-12 yen, compared with 1.2605-2615 dollars and 124.58-68 yen in New York and 1.2654-2657 dollars and 124.86-90 yen in Tokyo late Monday.
