The average nominal profit of the Kazakh population per capita hit $215 in May. This amount has increased 9.3 percent compared to 2008, the press service for the Kazakh statistics agency told Trend .
According to the agency, real profit increased 0.8 percent.
"Atyrau region, Almaty and Astana held leading positions on average profit per capita in May 2009. The average level is 1.8-2.1 times greater in those regions," statistics agency said.
According to the agency, the South-Kazakhstan and North-Kazakhstan regions were named among the lowest profitable regions in May 2009. The population's profits hit 71.5 percent and 77.8 percent of the level for the Republic as a whole. The highest rates of growth of the population's real profit were named in Kizilorda and South-Kazakhstan regions.
