The State Supervision Service on Consumer market at the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry removed and burnt roughly 100 kilogram of the expired products on the consumer market on July 22, the ministry said.

The State Supervision Service on Consumer market at the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry removed and burnt roughly 100 kilogram of the expired products on the consumer market on July 22, the ministry said.

Monitoring carried out in the Narimanov district of Baku. The expired food products include sausages, confectionery products, vegetable oils, natural juices, beer, milk and milk products, mayonnaise, and more.

Protocols on administrative violations have been complied on 5 individuals.

Generally, after the Azerbaijani president's decree on amendments and supplements to the Code of Administrative Violations, dated May 17, 36 enterprises have been fined worth 140,500 manats and 208 individuals - 312,500 manats.

The monitoring continues.

On July 23, the official exchange rate is 0.8041 manat to $1.
