During the first 11 months of 2010, Turkey registered 2,196 companies with foreign participation, of which 191 was created in November, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey reported on Friday.
Of them, 323 companies have been established with the Iranian capital, 257 - German, 134 - Russian and 116 - Azerbaijan. Some 1,942 companies are LLCs and 254 - JSCs.
The total capital of the companies with joint capital, which were created in January-November, amounted to 959.816 million lira ($ 619,556 million), of which 542,626 million lira ($350,262 million) or 56.53 percent fell to the companies with foreign participation.
In general, 45,982 companies and cooperatives were established in Turkey in January-November. The figure is more by 14.29 percent compared to the same period last year. In 2009, the figure was 40,232.
The official exchange rate is 1.5520 TL to $1 Dec. 24.
