The Georgian authorities will start distributing food vouchers worth 30 lari from March 10.
The vouchers will be used like energy vouchers and can be cashed in at Liberty Bank and its branches.
Citizens can appeal to social services agencies or call the hotline if problems occur.
The process of issuing the vouchers will be completed on July 1.
Food and energy vouchers can be presented to others.
It should be noted that earlier the population received energy vouchers worth 20 lari.
As the Georgian president said earlier, allocating 50 lari to each family is a short-term solution to global inflation. Some $150 million lari will also be allocated for agricultural development through a long-term program.
