The number of international participants in the exhibition has significantly increased, the manager of Iran's 16th International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition Hossein Porsan said, Press TV reported with reference to IRNA.
"In this exhibition, [the number of] participating countries and foreign companies has increased by 20 and 22 percent respectively, as compared to the previous year," Porsan told.
Among participating countries in the exhibition are Austria, Spain, Australia, England, Italy, Germany, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Russia, France, the Netherlands, Norway, India, Singapore, Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and Brazil, he said.
Forty countries have so far registered to partake in the exhibition, and some more are in the process of registration, the Iranian official added.
Some 927 Iranian companies and 460 foreign ones are taking part in the exhibition, Porsan said.
Iran's 16th International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition is scheduled to open in the Iranian capital of Tehran on Friday, April 15 in the presence of Iranian top officials and ambassadors of foreign states, and will be open to public from April 16 to April 19.
