Some 37 national standards developed by technical committees of the Institute of Azerbaijani Standards public and private organizations were adopted in the first half of 2011 in Azerbaijan, the State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents said on Monday.
Patents on 66 inventions, six utility models, 15 industrial designs, as well as certificates on 637 trademarks were registered in the first six months of this year.
In addition, licenses were issued on moving papers on two trademarks, licensing contracts for the use of four international trademarks, and licenses for 25 trademarks.
In the first half of this year, 30 testing laboratories for calibration were accredited and included in the state register. Also the certification period was extended for 49 accredited laboratories.
