Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Fund (AZPROMO) and employees of the Moscow representative office of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) discussed export of the Azerbaijan wines to Japan in the future with local wine-producing companies.
AZPROMO and JETRO representatives held meetings with wine producers in Azerbaijan on Sept.6, Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry said.
The purpose of the meetings was familiarizing with the current situation in this sphere and discussing wine exports to Japan in the future. In addition, the presentation of products made in Azerbaijan, and participation of the Azerbaijani companies at the Foodex Japan 2012 exhibition, to be held in 2012 in Japan, was discussed.
During the visit, JETRO representatives got familiarized with the production process in "Abseron", "Aqroazerinvest", "Tovuz Baltiya" and "Serq ulduzu" companies.
