The share of allocations in the non-budget fund of Ministry of Taxes is to be increased five-fold to ensure social protection of employees of tax authorities in Azerbaijan. These allocations are made at the expense of the financial sanctions imposed by the tax authorities and which were passed in state budget.
The amount of deductions to non-budgetary funds increased from the current five to 25 per cent according to the amendments to the Tax Code, adopted by the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) on Tuesday.
The chairman of the parliamentary committee on economic policy Ziyad Samadzade noted that, inconsistencies in the social security of tax officials will be eliminated in the result of changes.
"We've implemented research jointly with the Ministry of Taxes, which showed that these changes correspond to similar changes in other state institutions," Samadzade said.
