Kazakh airline Air Astana has replenished its fleet by new Boeing 757-200

Kazakh airline Air Astana has replenished its fleet by new Boeing 757-200, Kazinform reported referring to the company.

"Boeing 757-200 taken in operating lease landed in Almaty on Jan. 17," Air Astana said.
According to the company, the aircraft's capacity is 150 seats in the economy class and 16 seats in the business class. Aircraft's cruise speed is 870 kilometers per hour and its range ability is 7,250 km.

The aircraft will fly on domestic and international destinations

Moreover, according to the company, Air Astana plans to continue its fleet replenishment by three new Embraer 190 and six Airbus aircrafts in 2012.

Air Astana is the flag carrier and the national airline of Kazakhstan. It is a joint venture owned by the Government of Kazakhstan (51 percent) and British BAE Systems (49 percent). Airline's fleet, including new Boeing consists of 26 modern aircraft of western production
