In January 2012 the activity in the market of non-residential facilities decreased compared to previous month, which reflected the sales and prices, CEO of MBA Group consulting company Nusret Ibrahimov told Trend on Friday.
The dynamics of deals declined by 1.1 percent in January, 2012 compared to December, 2011 and by 5.6 percent compared to Jan, 2011.
The volume of supply of objects for sale rose during the month by 0.91 percent and by 15.4 percent during the year.
Ratio of profit of the property used for commercial purposes rose in January by 1.7 percent, due to the decline in rental value compared to the sale prices of the property.
In January, 2012 the price for sale of non-residential areas decreased by 1.4 percent, the rental market - increased by 0.3 percent. The average price per square meter of non-residential areas in Baku declined from $3,056 to $3,014, the cost of rent increased from $20.6 to $20.66 per month. The index of prices in January fell by 1.38 percent and by 6.72 per cent compared to the same month of last year.
"The increase in prices in January was observed mainly in the first and fourth parts of the city," Mr Ibrahimov said.
