Tajikistan and the Word Bank (WB) discussed implementation of projects on decreasing electricity loss at Tajik Prime Minister Akil Akilov's meeting with WB representative on Thursday, CA-News reported.
The sides also discussed the implementation of new energy projects.
Akilov called on the WB to assist Tajikistan in resolving energy problems.
In mid-February WB approved allocation of $18-million additional funds for implementation of project for electricity loss reduction.
The sides signed the agreement in this regard in Dushanbe on March 16.
