Assets of Azerbaijani DemirBank increase by 9 percent

DemirBank’s assets as of April 1, 2012 amounted to 358.3 million manat, exceeds the same indicator of previous year by 29.8 million manat or 9.1%, the bank said in a statement issued on Friday.

DemirBank's assets as of April 1, 2012 amounted to 358.3 million manat, exceeds the same indicator of previous year by 29.8 million manat or 9.1%, the bank said in a statement issued on Friday.

Volume of the loan portfolio also increased by 12.8% and reached 265.6 million manat.

Total value of customer deposits as of April 1, 2012 is equal to 133.2 million manat. Value of individuals' term deposits has reached 110.4 million manat.
As of April 1, 2012 DemirBank's shareholders capital amounted to 21 million manat, while total regulatory capital reached 51.2 million manat.

One of the first banks of Azerbaijan, DemirBank (formerly called Azerdemiryolbank) started its operations in October 1989. Shareholders of the Banks include large international financial institutions, such as European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO).
