Kazakhstan increased foreign trade turnover by 10.9 percent to $101.658 billion in January-September 2011 compared to the same period of 2011, Kazinform quoted Kazakh Statistics Agency's head Alikhan Smailov as saying.
Kazakh export in this period hit $69.547 billion (5.6 percent increase), Kazakh import reached $ 32.111 billion (24.5 percent increase).
Retail sales in Kazakhstan in the reporting period increased by 12.8 percent and hit 3.391 trillion tenge (excluding turnover of catering). Wholesales increased by 14.9 percent to 8.943 trillion tenge ($1=150.46 tenge).
