Kazakhstan to simplify permit issuance for SME

Kazakhstan takes measures to simplify the issuance of permits for small and medium enterprises, Kazakh Prime Minister's press-service reported with the reference to the Deputy Minister of Regional Development Kairat Uskenbayev.
It is planned to develop a common list of all permissions for business enterprises by the end of the current year, as well as determine standard permit procedures, Uskenbayev said at the government meeting on Tuesday.
According to the Deputy Minister, a draft law to regulate the number of permits and prevent their growth is currently under development.
Moreover, the process of business permits issuance will be automated and all permits will be issued online by 2015.
According to the Deputy Minister of Regional Development, the number of permits for business enterprises reduced by one-third in 2011 and by other 30 percent in 2012. Moreover, the paper document flow in this sphere decreased by nearly 2 million items.
