Sheki Ipek silk plant continues working in Azerbaijan

Sheki Ipek silk plant continues working in Azerbaijan as usually, the company's management told Trend Aug. 14. The employees were not dismissed. The unpaid leave was not offered either.
The silk fabrics production has been suspended due to the temporary problems in the supply of raw silk. Some 150 people working in this workshop are on paid leave. The workshop will resume its activity in the near future after the raw materials are obtained. The employees will continue working.
All other workshops of the enterprise, namely, carpet weaving, cotton-spinning and kalaghai (traditional Azerbaijani women's headgear) production workshops continue working as usually.
