Iran's proposals of resolving the crises in the region, including Syria, will be presented in the form of a political plan after they are fully coordinated, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister, told reporters, the Iranian news agency Tasnimnews reported.
Abdollahian made this statement after a meeting with Federica Mogherini, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
"Faisal Mekdad, Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister, will visit Tehran next week and will hold talks on Iran's proposals to resolve the Syrian crisis," he said.
"Tehran's proposals will be presented as a political plan following the discussions with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, the Russian president and foreign minister and some friends of Iran in the region," he said. "Afterwards, the public will be informed about its details."
Abdollahian said that Iran's package of proposals of assisting Syria in overcoming this crisis was presented to President Assad during Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif's recent visit to this country.
"The European Community and other sides are interested in the settlement of the Syrian conflict," he said. "The views are exchanged with them now."
