Turkish low-cost airline to start flights to Turkmenistan

Turkey's low-cost Pegasus airlines will start flights on Istanbul-Turkmenbashi route soon, said the message from Turkmen government.

The officials of Turkmenistan's civil aviation have held talks with Pegasus on creating cooperation and opening its representative office in Turkmenistan, said the message.

Currently, alongside with domestic flights, Turkmenistan Airlines carries out regular flights to such cities as: Moscow, London, Frankfurt, Birmingham, Bangkok, New Delhi, Dubai, Minsk, Almaty, Istanbul, St. Petersburg and Paris.

The intergovernmental agreement on air service between Turkmenistan and Luxemburg was initialed in April 2015.

The largest European air carrier Cargolux Airlines International has started cargo flights on Luxemburg-Turkmenbashi route since June 2015.
