PASHA Bank expects the inflation rate in Azerbaijan at 13-15 percent in 2016, head of the bank's board Taleh Kazimov told reporters March 11.
Earlier, Azerbaijan's Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said that the inflation is forecasted at 10-12 percent in the updated concept for socio-economic development worked out by the country's Economy Ministry.
Inflation in Azerbaijan stood at 4 percent in 2015, 1.4 percent in 2014, 2.4 percent - 2013, 1.1 percent - 2012, 7.9 percent - 2011, 5.7 percent - 2010.
Food prices rose by 6.1 percent, non-food - by 3.8 percent, while the tariffs for paid services increased by 1.2 percent in 2015.
