The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) raised 20 million manats at a deposit auction Aug. 1, said CBA message posted on its website Aug. 1.
The weighted average interest rate on deposit transactions, concluded at the auction, amounted to 6.9 percent.
The Central Bank has held five deposit auctions recently. The CBA attracted 129 million manats during the first auction, 50 million manats during the second auction, 45 million manats during the third auction, 37 million manats during the fourth auction and 50 million manats during the fifth auction.
