Eximbank Kazakhstan’s net profit hit 72.71 million tenge in 1H of 2016 compared to the 123.83 million tenge (354 tenge = $1) in the same period of 2015

Eximbank Kazakhstan’s net profit hit 72.71 million tenge in 1H of 2016 compared to the 123.83 million tenge (354 tenge = $1) in the same period of 2015, according to the bank’s financial statements published on the website of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) on Aug. 4.

Operation revenues of the bank rose from 1.16 billion tenge in 1H of 2015 to 1.2 billion tenge in 1H of 2016. Operating costs increased from 964.32 million tenge to 1.05 billion tenge in this period.

The bank’s assets decreased from 70.79 billion tenge at the end of 2015 to 69.22 billion tenge at the end of June. The bank’s liabilities decreased from 57.45 billion tenge to 55.8 billion tenge in Jan. –June. Eximbank’s equity slightly increased in the reporting period – from 13.34 billion tenge to 13.41 billion tenge.

Eximbank Kazakhstan is one of the pioneers of the financial market in Kazakhstan. The bank has been serving their clients – legal entities for more than 20 years. Since April of 2014, Eximbank Kazakhstan has been opening deposits and serving accounts of individuals.
