Development Bank of Kazakhstan increased its assets from 2.128 trillion tenges to 2.226 trillion tenges (344.5 tenges= $1) in 1H 2016

Development Bank of Kazakhstan increased its assets from 2.128 trillion tenges to 2.226 trillion tenges (344.5 tenges= $1) in 1H 2016, according to the bank’s financial statements published on the website of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) Aug. 15.

The bank’s equity increased from 356.1 billion tenges to 367.2 billion tenges in January-June 2016.

The bank’s liabilities rose from 1.77 trillion tenges at the beginning of 2016 to 1.86 trillion tenges at the end of June.

The profit of Development Bank of Kazakhstan hit 10.88 billion tenges in 1H 2016 as compared to 8.58 billion tenges in 1H 2015.

The Kazakhstan Development Bank, created in 2007, is a national institute for modernization and development of the non-primary and infrastructure sectors of the economy of Kazakhstan.

The bank is a part of the Baiterek National Management Holding.
