The exports of eight major steel factories in Iran jumped by 55 percent during the first nine months of the current Iranian fiscal year (which started March 20).
During the mentioned time, these eight factories exported 4.12 million tons of steel products, IRNA news agency reported January 8.
The factories included Esfahan Steel Company, Mobarakeh, Khuzestan Oxin, Hormozgan, Iran Steel Alloy, Azerbaijan steel company and Khorasan steel company.
Based on a 2025 outlook, Iran’s steel output is to reach 55 million tons, 15 million of which should be exported. For the current Iranian year, it is predicted that Iran will produce 18 million tons of steel, exporting 6 million tons of it.
